Herald The Horse, Story #1

Herald was a horse. All the other horses were black & smart but Herald was a stupid white horse. All the other hoses could run very fast & far. Herald always stopped to eat. All the other horses could jump hurdles. Herald could fall asleep anywhere. What all the other horses didn’t know was that Herald was a magic horse. He was a descendant of the great Pegasus himself. Herald was clumsy though. He went around doing spells when he wasn’t meaning to. One time Herald met a chicken. He used his Pegasus powers to talk to the chicken. The chicken said he hated horses and almost plucked Heralds head off. If his father had  not helped him he would have been chicken food. Another time Herald went to a human village. He said to the human very slowly so that it would understand “hhhheeeeeeellllllllllllllllllooooooooo”! Of corse the human ran away terrified. Like I said before Herald isn’t very bright. He was hurt that the human ran away and was determined to talk to her. He ran after her as fast as the other horses. Herald easily caught up & tried again. “Hello” he said. This time the little girl looked plain confused. Then her eyes lit up. “Twilight Sparkle”! she yelled as she ran to hug Herald. Herald (proudly) asked if she wanted to join his herd. The little girl said “Anything for you.” Herald used his Pegasus powers and turned the girl into a pony. She was brown but she had a white main like Herald. They both ran back to the rest of the herd… “Hello Herald” said Jecter leader of the herd, “Who’s your friend?” “This is my friend human” said Herald proudly! “How did she get that name?” asked Jecter. “She used to be a human, duhh” said Herald. “Take her back” said Jecter. “Fine said Herald. They ran home. Herald turned Human, said goodbye, & ran to his home.
